Ms. McNair has been licensed to
practice law in the State of California for over 21 years and has been
designated a Certified Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California
Board of Legal Specialization. To become certified, an attorney in California
must meet certain minimum experience requirements in their individual field and
pass a rigorous test specifically related to their area of specialty. Ms. McNair graduated from the
University of California at Berkeley and Ventura College of Law. She is a member
of the Family Section of the State Bar of California, the Ventura County Family
Law Bar Association and is a past president of that organization. Her practice is limited to family
law matters, including dissolution, annulment, child custody, child and spousal
support, and interstate custody. Ms. McNair is a charter member of the
Collaborative Family Lawyers in Ventura County. This organization was formed by
18 family law lawyers committed to resolving family law matters outside of the
adversarial Court system in appropriate cases. Ms. McNair maintains an active
family law practice where necessary matters are litigated; however, there is a
strong emphasis on the importance of effectively resolving family law matters,
particularly where the interests of children are affected.
